Oike pond

Oike pond is an excellent place to stretch your legs and get a bit of fresh air. Constructed in 1943, Oike Pond is a 9.2 hectare artificial pond located in Okusa in Koda Town. The water is fed from the Hirota River, a tributary of the Yahagi River.

As well as the golf driving range located on the side of the pond, the area is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot. The pond is not only used for agriculture but also provides habitat for various wildlife. It is a focal point for local people and is especially popular among young families.
