Sports FacilitiesGood food, cozy bars, long hours of work or research or simulating the perfect lounge lizard (or all of the above). A bit of stress perhaps? Sooner or later there is a chance that you may want to (or desperately need to) get some exercise. Okazaki is a pretty good place for sports and recreation. There is a wide range of facilities, and many of them are close by. The city is great for walking or jogging of course, especially when routes combine the river banks and parks, but if pounding the pavement isn't your thing, don't despair. There are many clubs, community groups and opportunities to get some exercise, the added advantage being that you can meet new people and make a few local friends as well.

Okazaki is also good for outdoor activities, mainly due to the relatively low population density, and the abundance of nature on the eastern outskirts of the city.
